Ian Robinson (verified owner) –
The Windows Server 2016 RDS CALs were delivered by email quite quickly, and the licence details were clear enough to add them through Remote Desktop Licensing Manager without any problems. I bought User CALs for a small office, so the same staff can connect from their desktops and laptops without needing a separate licence for each device. The price was also better than several other suppliers I checked.
The only difficulty was making sure I selected the correct CAL type and had the right server and licensing information ready before activation. The product description does explain the difference, but the email could include slightly clearer step-by-step instructions, especially for anyone who does not regularly manage Windows Server licensing. Once that was sorted, the licences worked as expected and I have had no issues with the remote connections.
