Adobe Photoshop Elements 2026

Includes adobe premier video editor.Pretty demanding of computer resources so I upgraded the RAM from 4GB to 8 GB on my ageing laptop. Also i5 or equivalent processor suggested as 2020 version is more demanding than my old 2011 version .Before you splash your cash it may be worth looking at paint.net which is free with Windows.

I did computing at university, so the inner geek in me was delighted to have a chance to play with this. Obviously since university days, that thing called life has got in the way so commitments have made it hard to be able to self teach myself certain software, however lockdown has inspired me to learn Photoshop plus more! I’m briefly familiar with Photoshop, but this was years ago, so having to learn as a new user again.You get two installation discs (1 for Mac, the other for Windows) Installation took around 20/25 mins to load/register onto my Windows 10 laptop and once installation had successfully loaded i was greeted with a main screen that has many functions for photo editing. The userface is very user friendly for anyone who is not so familiar with Photoshop. The main page allows you to search for a specific function, as well as having titled visuals that demonstrates the photo editing task when you hover your mouse over it, which is handy. It will then redirect you to their website for a detailed breakdown of how to edit a certain way.If you are at beginner level, you will definitely need to follow the user guide as the commands for some of the technical effects isn’t quite straight forward, however practice really does make practice. The userguide is extremely informative and easy to follow however it would be good if there was a way to implement the userguide into the software itself as i found myself flicking screens alot which was distracting alone.One of the features i particularly liked was being able to save and correct an old photograph that had stains and scratches on it. There was a tool that healed away the flaws, which once done you would never of been able to tell anything was there to begin with. There are many features that you can do with this software such as photo calendars, make CD/DVD covers and labels, turn photos into a moving GIF, remove an object from an image plus so many more to name. My current task that i aim to self teach and execute is to edit a picture where i have ‘face swapped’ which is proving to be slighlty tricky but following the guides and tutorials online will easily been done.Overal i think this is a fantastic software to edit personal images. It definitely does much more than any of these apps or basic editors on your phone does, where if you are looking for a bit more of a professional touch up or customization you will certainly have fun with this. It is suited for any level, where detailed explanations are given for those not so skilled. If you love photography or editing i would definitely recommend!

Bought this for a Denman Course – easy to install and use

My old computer crashed beyond repair and with it, my Photoshop. No matter how ancient it was, it served me well. Now, with a new computer, I have Photoshop Elements. It seems to be an all dancing, all singing affair. I’m trying to get my head around it but it’s difficult. I really need a “Photoshop Elements for Dummies” guide that spells out in simple terms the step by step actions that need to be taken. I guess I’ll try and fine an experienced user to lead me through the complexities.

PSE 21 arrived promptly, was well packaged and was exactly as advertised. I purchased this to update my PSE 14. I was initially reluctant to buy it as it wasn’t clear that it was for both Mac and Windows (the box contains disks for both). Loading was very easy – insert disk and follow the online prompts. Be aware that once you’ve loaded the disk, you may also need to load some updates. I have previously purchased some additional elements, but these did not copy across, nor did PSE21 automatically delete PSE14, so I have two versions on my computer. There are a number of new features, which are really good (eg. add more interesting sky). The initial screen is very similar, although the straighten and crop tools only appear after the basic editing is complete. I have now used PSE21 many times and I have experienced no issues.

I’m still learning, but as my old video editing software died on me I needed something to finish a project. I’ve yet to play properly with the Photoshop side of this software, but if it is half as good as Premier Elements it should be brilliant.

Having used PS Elements 5 for around 10 years or more at a fairly basic level for adjusting exposure errors, etc. when taking photos I decided that as I bought a more advanced camera this year I should upgrade my post processing software too. All the YouTube, phoyi magazines and other photographers always seem to talk about using Photoshop or Lightroom but the idea of a monthly fee for using Photoshop or Lightroom does not appeal to me as I am not a daily user, only occasional or monthly one. So when I saw Elements 21 as a one time purchase I thought that would be a better option as it includes many functions in the full version of Photoshop. It it vastly superior to my version 5 but does have one downside for me – all the functions text characters are a lot smaller meaning that I have problems reading the details on my laptop even with my spectacles. As there is so much more that can be done with this version I have purchased the Photoshop Elements 2020 for Dummies book to help me learn all the newer features. I feel certain that I will be as pleased with this version as I was with the older one.

Comes with a ‘creative cloud’ thing that i dont want,and it would’nt let me delete .Apart from that it’s quite good,not much different from the 2018 version.

The most important of Elements’ new features, Subject selection uses Adobe Sensei AI to analyse your photo and then automatically select what it perceives as the subjects.2. It has many powerful image-manipulation tools and Strong face- and geo-tagging capabilities.3. It has excellent output options. there is auto-tagging and powerful search options.For advanced users who are moving from a different software, there is helpful guidance to master the advanced techniques.And then there’s this Organizer, an accompanying application to manage your images and create all kinds of (manual or batched) outputsFor a novice, the Quick Fixes are great. If you want to be more precise but still need some help, the Guided approach is truly a boon. And if your familiar with Photoshop (or not) and want to dig in deep, then the Expert Mode will offer you the real Photoshop features and approach. It does all kinds of layers and it can retouch in multiple ways. It can open RAW files and work in high resolution.The only minor issues I felt was that it takes large disk footprint and there is no chromatic aberration correction or lens geometry profiles.Overall, I found it to be a well made software which offers lots of features for any type of user but it is quite heavy on resources.

Enfin un accès à un téléchargement Adobe Zii 2021 pour Mac mais qui ne fonctionne pas (Je devais recevoir une version boîte…). Je croyais avoir commandé un Photoshop original, je ne sais pas ce qu’est Adobe Zii 20216/ Depuis le 12/10, dernier échange mail dans lequel je posai une question, plus de nouvelles.J’aimerais récupérer l’argent payé pour un produit qui ne correspond pas à l’offre ni ne fonctionne.

Bought Adobe Photoshop Elements 2021 on CD, arrived next day. Packaged exactly as described on keyforrest. This was not an update installation, but a clean first time installation of Elements. I installed the Windows version, but the macOS version is also in the box. Two options pop up – Photoshop Elements or a trial of Adobe Premier Elements. First thing that requires you attention after installing the CD, is signing in to the Adobe site. I have already used the site so I had a password. The installation took 35 minutes. I then entered the SN code. Before the newly installed software opened, two updates were found. A Photoshop Elements update and a RAW file camera selection update. These took 11 minutes to install. That was everything completed, and I did not encounter any problems. Software easy to use and I think its terrific value.

Great for most home users but premier is falling behind with very few updates over recent years

I had a free version that I have been using for 20 years! but due to a new hard drive being fitted I could not transfer the program. So, I purchased the full edition, it takes a while to understand the features but there is help on Youtube.

I’ve been using an older version of Photoshop for years so it’s great to have an updated 2021 version as oppose to my older one. I still find the layout very easy, user friendly and absolutely suitable for beginners. Anyone can make their photos look professional with this and with the increasing popularity with sharing images online, there’s more need to make them look decent and impressive!I use this for editing my photos and it has very easy ways to manipulate your pictures and make them exactly what you need them to be, the more you learn how to use it and realise the potential the more you can do and even now i’m learning every day as an amateur user. There’s automatic picture fixes or if you know exactly what you want you can spend more time, editing out things you don’t want to be there, I like making my pictures black and white and then picking out a red dress or red lips to make it Sin City style and so much more, if you can think of it then this will help you to create it and there’s tutorials out there if you need more help.A fantastic program even for beginners, it’s quick and easy to learn the interface and gives fantastic results!

Although lacking many of the myriad features available on the very much more expensive “full” versions of Photoshop and Premiere Pro, these “Elements” versions are ideal for most home users. The user interface is simpler and, with a perpetual licence, you aren’t stuck with the extortionate monthly or annual subscription costs of the Adobe Creative Cloud products.

I have had Adobe Photoshop Elements on my computer before but it’s an old version. I installed this new versionand explored some of the new features. I have not tried them all but I have played around with Fine-tune face tilt which was fun, it allows you to ddjust the position of a person’s face. There is a perfect landscape feature which makes it easy to remove unwanted objects from the background such as seagulls and pylons.If you are a novice like me and could never get your head around the full version of photo shop then this is for you. This is because all the advanced features on the interface are guided like a wizard. It even shows you before and after so you can commit to the changes or not and fine tune your photos to get that perfect image. The colouring feature on the perfect landscape can make your dull grey weathered photos bright and sunny, it really was fun to play with. It was nice to find some software that took advantage of my 4k monitior and high resolution screen space.Juts to make you aware, it requires 64 bit windows 10 and won’t run on anything lower. I had checked the requirements but this new version seems to need 64 bit as well. It will also work on mac as its dual platform.
